A platform that cannot guess
MyRankOne had to bring several SEO signals into one self-hosted platform. A site audit, search-performance data, page-speed measurement, third-party keyword data and an owned index all have different data paths. Some need credentials. Some are available to the public.
The platform also had to measure AI visibility, not just classic search signals. It needed to check whether AI answer engines actually cite a site, while keeping public crawling safe enough to expose openly.
Open crawling without open risk
The difficult part was the shape of the system. It had to accept public audit requests, connect to data sources only when allowed, avoid made-up numbers, and keep core link data under its own control.
Public endpoint risk
An open audit endpoint can be abused if it is allowed to crawl without limits. Aerosoft added rate limiting and SSRF guards so the endpoint can be exposed publicly.
No invented numbers
A provider adapter may not have the credentials needed to return real data. The adapter returns an explicit needs-credentials response instead of filling the gap with an invented value.
Backlinks under control
Backlink reporting depends on having link data available to the platform. Aerosoft built a self-hosted backlink index so that data depends on no one else.
