Aerosoft built a single retail platform for a Grand Cayman outlet: a public online store with George Town pickup and delivery, and an in-store point of sale, both drawing on one catalogue and one live inventory. Sell a one-off item online or at the till, and the other side knows at once.
Aerosoft built one retail system for Black Friday Outlet in Grand Cayman: a customer-facing online store and an in-store point of sale that share a single catalogue and a single live inventory. The outlet sells clearance and open-box stock, much of it one unit at a time, so the website and the till can never disagree about what is left. A sale on either side updates both.
Black Friday Outlet sells clearance, overstock and open-box goods across fourteen departments, from appliances and electronics to toys, kitchen and clothing, much of it as single units marked “only one left” at up to seventy percent off retail.
The outlet needed to sell that stock both online, for pickup or delivery in George Town, and in person at a physical counter. The hard part is simple to state and easy to get wrong: when almost every item might be the last one, the online store and the till can never disagree about what is in stock.
The online store and the in-store POS had to work from the same products, the same prices and the same inventory, in real time, without one channel overselling what the other had already sold.
With single-unit lines everywhere, a purchase online or at the till has to decrement the same inventory instantly, so an item that just sold cannot still be bought on the other side.
Product details, photos, category and price are maintained in one place and appear on both the storefront and the POS, with no duplicate data entry.
Staff needed to scan or search store stock, take cash and card, apply discounts, hold and recall orders, print gift receipts, process refunds and cash up at the end of the day.
Aerosoft built the online store and the in-store point of sale as one system. Both read and write the same catalogue and inventory, so stock, pricing and products stay consistent across every way a customer can buy.
Customers browse fourteen departments, search by brand, product or category, see live “only one left” stock and the “going fast” clearance lines, and check out for George Town pickup or delivery.
The till scans item labels or searches store stock, shows category tiles, takes cash, card and other tender, applies discounts, holds orders, prints gift receipts, handles refunds, and runs shift cash-up and reports, priced in CI$.
A single catalogue and inventory sits behind both channels. A sale anywhere updates stock everywhere, and the owner manages products, pricing and reporting from one place.
The outlet now sells the same stock online and in store from one system, with inventory that stays honest across both. There is one catalogue to maintain, one set of numbers to read, and no gap between what the website says and what is on the shelf.
Stock, pricing, products and sales reporting live in one system across online and in store, instead of two tools reconciled by hand.
Staff get a quick browser till with cash-up and held orders; customers shop online for pickup or delivery or walk in, always seeing stock that is really there.
